What is Our Insiders?

Our Insiders is an exclusive online community run by the Insight team at Our Media Limited. Members of Our Insiders give their opinions on Our Media brands, which is invaluable for our teams and ensures we continue to bring our members closer to their passions. Our Insiders members may be asked to take part in surveys about their reading habits, their thoughts on our websites, or to help measure how an advertising campaign has performed, as well as other interesting topics!

Who are Our Media Limited?

Our Media is a leading special-interest content business, based in the buzzing, creative city of Bristol. We're home to market-leading brands in craft, cycling, science and nature, homes and music. We help our audiences pursue their passions through highly trusted, original content – in print, video and online. How does Our Insiders work?

It's really easy to get involved. Click on the ‘Join Now’ button on the home page and fill out a short registration survey. It only takes a few minutes and allows us to ensure we are only sending you surveys that are relevant to you.

Once you are registered we will send you surveys via email to complete. Your answers are invaluable for our teams to help shape the content we produce. Every time you complete a survey you will be entered into our monthly prize draw for the chance to win one of five £50 Love2shop vouchers, to redeem against a range of retailers. If you opt in, you'll get an entry for every survey you successfully complete in a month so the more surveys you do, the better your chances of winning. In addition to the monthly prize draw, there will also be other rewards and offers up for grabs throughout the year. Eligibility for these rewards and offers will be based on the interests you specify at the point of singing up, as well as whether you consent for us to send you relevant communications. How do you use my personal information?

In addition to using your information to contact you, we ask for certain information (e.g. date of birth) in order to ensure that we only send you relevant surveys and to give us a better understanding of the demographics of our panel members. We share our survey results with the relevant Our Media brand(s), but this will always be in an aggregated, anonymous form so you can't be identified personally from these reports. We don't use your information for any other purpose.

The online platform we use to carry out our panel research activity is provided by a company called QuestionPro. QuestionPro store your personal information within the EEA and is responsible for compliance with its obligations as Processor under the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
